Case 1

Case 1 – Browlift, no blepharoplasty

This procedure elevated the hairline eyebrow and rejuvenated the upper face, reducing tension and improving comfort for this patient. With discreet scars hidden behind the hairline, it opened up her upper visual field, bringing more light into the eyes and boosting confidence in her appearance. As with so many of these types of procedures, there is a “family” of associated browlift procedures in different layers of the forehead and brow, which can powerfully “shape” the eyebrows to provide symptomatic benefits as well as boost confidence.

Rhinoplasty

Case 1

Case 1 – Functional rhinoplasty to improve function and confidence in appearance

This patient had facial asymmetry, with a gentle twist to the face and no centre line for the rhinoplasty. The ‘before’ shows a boxy asymmetrical tip and a collapsed left sidewall, which was causing breathing obstruction. Reshaping the nasal pyramid and improving symmetry relieved symptoms and helped us achieve greater nasal balance, resulting in a more confident, harmonious look.

Case 2 – Rhinoplasty for confidence in appearance

This case was focused on removing the dorsal hump and balancing the nasal bridge and tip. Creating a harmonious nasal profile boosts confidence and enhances facial symmetry, providing a pleasing appearance both in person and in photographs. The technique used is known as ‘open ultrasonic rhinoplasty’ and is performed with hidden scars.

Case 3 – Rhinoplasty for confidence in appearance

Removing a dorsal hump and balancing the bridge of the nose with the tip is one of the most requested rhinoplasty procedures. It gives patients great confidence in terms of their profile view. The surgery is day-case open rhinoplasty and the ‘ultrasonic piezo technique’. It provides rapid recovery, minimal bruising and swelling, and precision confident results.

Case 4 – Tip rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty involves reshaping the ‘framework’ of the nose, bone, and cartilage so that the ‘envelope’ of skin and soft tissue can ‘re-drape’ and bring confidence in appearance. This surgery restores the ’supra-tip break’ and the shape of the tip, with a straight line of light down the nose from the bridge to the remodelled tip.

Case 1 – Mastopexy (breast uplift)

Ideal for those seeking a natural breast lift without implants, this classic uplift elevates the breasts and restores volume to the upper pole. With scars discreetly positioned below the bra line, it relieves neck and back tension and increases confidence in appearance. The surgery is done as a day case, with comfortable recovery.

Case 2 – Breast uplift (mastopexy), with implants in a single-stage

Combining a breast uplift with implants restores breast shape and projection, enhances femininity and restores confidence. In this patient, we were debating in clinic – uplift or augmentation? The pre-op clinic markings, in fact, are for uplift/mastopexy; nonetheless, the brief favoured augmentation with implants. What was I directed to achieve? Projection, increased cup size, nipple lift, and upper pole fullness; seeking to minimise visible scars. These round, micro-textured, high-projection implants delivered the result, reflected in a supportive, generous testimonial and the referral of a friend… a lovely transfer of trust!

Case 5 – Breast uplift/mastopexy

“Mr Britto, can you lift the nipple on the breast and give me a ‘happier’ shape?” “Yes, we can!” This mastopexy reshapes the ‘bottomed out’ ‘before’ breast, where the nipple points down to the ‘happy’ and youthful ‘after’ breast, where the youthful nipple/areolar complex faces forward and up, with a regular round shape and soft, supple, stable, and slim scars.

Case 6

Case 6 – Breast augmentation with implants

If the aim is to restore the ’slack’ breast, post breastfeeding, the solution must include breast augmentation to reconstruct the lost volume of the involuted breast. The implant restores upper pole fullness, nipple projection, proportion and the very personal sensibilities of femininity. The scars are well hidden and become less visible over time. The implant placement above the muscle reduces the unnatural look that sometimes arises with placement under the muscle – where the implant and muscle move one way and the breast the other!
