Face and Neck Lift

Not all facelifts involve laxity in the skin or deeper layers. However, for this patient, there were classic laxity indications as well as loss of definition in the face and neck. We addressed these concerns by lifting and tightening the deeper layers of the face to restore a youthful triangular neck and define the jawline.

Brow Lift

Browlift, no blepharoplasty

This procedure elevated the hairline eyebrow and rejuvenated the upper face, reducing tension and improving comfort for this patient. With discreet scars hidden behind the hairline, it opened up her upper visual field, bringing more light into the eyes and boosting confidence in her appearance. As with so many of these types of procedures, there is a “family” of associated browlift procedures in different layers of the forehead and brow, which can powerfully “shape” the eyebrows to provide symptomatic benefits as well as boost confidence.

Blepharoplasty

Upper and lower blepharoplasty

This signature procedure is designed to harmonise the eyelids with the face, eliminating tired-looking features and restoring balance. Upper eyelid surgery was used here to remove excess skin and muscle, and reduce lax fat. The result? No more tired folds dropping across the eyelash line, no more smudged make up. Lower eyelid surgery banished the shadows and improved the contours resulting in refreshed youthful eyes. There’s also more definition, balanced contour and loss of ‘weight’ with hidden scars.

Rhinoplasty

Functional rhinoplasty to improve function and confidence in appearance

This patient had facial asymmetry, with a gentle twist to the face and no centre line for the rhinoplasty. The ‘before’ shows a boxy asymmetrical tip and a collapsed left sidewall, which was causing breathing obstruction. Reshaping the nasal pyramid and improving symmetry relieved symptoms and helped us achieve greater nasal balance, resulting in a more confident, harmonious look.

In this patient, we were debating in clinic – uplift or augmentation? The pre-op clinic markings, in fact, are for uplift/mastopexy; nonetheless, the brief favoured augmentation with implants. What was I directed to achieve? Projection, increased cup size, nipple lift, and upper pole fullness; seeking to minimise visible scars. These round, micro-textured, high-projection implants delivered the result, reflected in a supportive, generous testimonial and the referral of a friend… a lovely transfer of trust!
